Our Power Composites business commits to sustainability by innovating high-end, reliable and sustainable products for our customer, from world-class manufacturing units. By consistent R&D and novel innovations our business has provided ingenious solutions to the electrical industry like pollution resistant insulators and polymer insulators amongst others.
Our plant is a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant and our aim is to become water positive. We use negligible water in operations and very low quantities in domestic usage. We also have a recharge well to harvest the rain water and increase the ground water level.
We continually strive to play a key role in finding effective and responsible ways to preserve the environment. We are committed to improving our sustainability footprint in the identified areas of waste management, energy reduction, water conservation & recycling and emission reduction.
Our approach is to set clear policy & institutional framework, systematically monitor the performance, encourage continuous improvement & innovative practices, and deepen the dialogue with all stakeholders. We focus on safety practices, socio-economic development of the communities around the plant and all round empowerment of our employees. Considering the growth in the Insulator business, we have accorded Environment, Health and Safety as a priority and continuously roll out initiatives and training to our employees on its importance.
